Importing text File

I am trying to import a text file into Crystal 9. I have used text ODBC drivers, MS Assess type connections. Whatever I try, the first record is always skipped. Crystal is using the 1st record as a field label. The file is a straight ASCII file, 80 characters long per record. There are no field labels.

Any suggestions?You have no choice. All fields need label and CR identifies first record as field label.

Importing from Crystal Report 7 to Reporting Services

I was wondering if I can import reports made by crystal report 7 to Reporting Services 2000.

There is no built-in way to convert reports.

Importing from access

I have an access table with multiple data fields. When I add the fields into my crystal report all of the data fields show data except the date field.

I then imported the same table into a ms querry and the date field pulled the data in excel.

So there is data when I pull it into excel, but none when I pull it into crystal.

Any suggestions?Check the settings for --> File / Options / Fields / DateTimesql

I see that you can import Access reports into Reporting Services. Is that
an add-in or something that will allow me to import Crystal Reports reports
into Reporting Services?
Any help is greatly appreciated.Not out of the box, but there are companies, develop tools for the same.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to do this: There are no wizards, etc. in SSRS (or 3rd party, as I recall) that will do the work for you. There are some services (Hitachi consulting, etc.) that will refactor the reports for you, but this obviously will cost some $$'s you probably don't want to spend.
